Introduction
As 2022 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on what a crazy year we’ve had. For Imperium we reached significant milestones; we celebrated a 4th birthday, launched a new sub brand specifically for contractors, and expanded the team. So here’s a look at what we were up to in 2022.
We made websites… a lot of them. 52 of them in fact! Without top site getting over 117 thousand visitors. Plus 27 logo designs. With another 35 websites and 7 logos in the works. That’s over 121 projects we’ve worked on just this year! Cue Rocky montage, if Rocky was clicking a mouse and typing on a keyboard.
Some of our favourite websites come from a wide range of industries. We’ve worked on websites for construction & excavation companies, hydroponic farming, and even an organization dedicated to biosphere conservation. Here are our top five websites for 2022.
Ken White Construction
Starting off with one of our most talked about sites of the year! Imperium was tasked to overhaul the website for Ken White Construction. We made sure to highlight the story of this three generation family owned and operated company. Incorporating the high quality imagery available we were able to build a functional website that compliments the expertise this company represents. This was an exciting opportunity and a kickass design for the books.

Frontenac Arch Biosphere
The Frontenac Arch Biosphere is a large organization that helps with the conservation and sustainability of our planet. This year we were given the opportunity to modernize this biosphere site and elevate an already well established organization. We were thrilled to create a dual site that operates for both the tourism and environmentalism sides of the site. This unique challenge of balancing design and cohesion is what makes this one of our favourites!

Bayne & Sellar
At Imperium we were tasked with elevating and modernizing the Bayne & Sellar Law website. Bringing it to life with beautiful imagery, clean design, and efficient navigation. Incorporating the brand blue gives this site authority within the industry. The unique challenge of organizing lots of information using clean timeless designs is what gives this site authority and ease of use.

Showcase Lawn & Landscape
At Imperium & Blue Collar Marketing we work with clients all over the world and especially with contractors across North America. Showcase Lawn & Landscape based in Ohio is no exception to this rule. We got to the heart of what this company represents and delivered on a slick design. Pulling the brand coloured within a dark theme is what gives this site it’s modern appeal.

This web project was a big undertaking for our team. We delivered on the goal of creating a modern and easy to navigate fully functioning e-commerce store and website for this leader in the industry. Our team learned so much about running a project of this size, speaking with key decision makers early on, managing scope creep, and overcoming obstacles. This project is one our team can be proud of. Perhaps more so on how we handled the experience overall. Learning from this project made our team better at what we do, which is create beautiful websites, create a harmonious working relationship with clients, and offer responsive customer service.
Launching Blue Collar Marketing
2022 marked the launch of Blue Collar Marketing; a sub brand specifically for contractors. Our team has blue collar backgrounds and made the choice of niching down a no brainer. We create web designs, logos, and offer partnership programs to see contracting companies succeed. Dedicated to this industry we’ve worked with the leaders in the construction business and Blue Collar Marketing is just getting started. Excited to see where this brand takes the company in the new year!

Signing Off
With the sheer amount of work we put into each project it can be a game of stats and analytics. Sometimes it helps to remind ourselves of the impact we’re helping create.
